About John Paul DeWalt.
At age 17, having graduated from a tiny high school in rural Arizona, John Paul flew to his sister’s home in Michigan to enter university. Within a month, he became a believer in Jesus as God’s Anointed and joined a non-denominational student group. Their name, the New Wineskins Christian Fellowship, reflected their anti-denominational mind-set.
With a vision for being a light of the Kingdom in a society filled with darkness, members graduated from university and stayed together in community instead of leaving to find lucrative jobs. The elders bought a small building, called the Ark. It had ten apartments and a large common room on the bottom floor. Members lived together in single mens-, single womens-, and family households. Other families in the fellowship lived apart but within a few miles of the Ark.
After a few years, John Paul left to study for a new career and ended up in mid-Ohio. He and his first wife raised her two girls and their two boys in a non-denominational church until she died and the kids grew up and left home.
John Paul took a second wife who brought in a book by Dr. Myles Munro of Bahamas Faith Ministries International. This launched him on the path of renewing his mind regarding
* Kingdom prosperity
* God’s Kingdom
* Heaven’s colonization of Earth
* the real meaning of ecclesia vs. church
* the responsibility of God’s people to invade the seven mountains of influence in society.
This has brought John Paul full-circle to the principle of Kingdom community and beyond to godly community development.
God has anointed John Paul to preach the Good News of Kingdom prosperity to the poor and the renewing of people’s minds as his has been renewed. He works to create speaking opportunities, books, videos, and online courses to exchange for what other people have of value.
