Faith: Lived Out Individually and Together

Faith Is Foundation of Hope

Hebrews 11:1 Now, faith is the foundation (hypostasis) of hope, the conviction of things invisible (my Ecclesia Bible).

That word “hope” is an active verb. The writer is talking about an active hope, trust in the invisible God. This is the reason for obedience as James wrote in Chapter 2, verses 14, 17, and 26. Faith shown by obedience.

Right Understanding Leads to Right Actions

I am a teacher anointed by Holy Spirit. My life verse is Isaiah 61:1

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,

because the Lord has anointed me

to proclaim good news to the poor.

He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,

to proclaim freedom for the captives

and release from darkness for the prisoners

Over the last few years, I have been shunning Christian religion and shallow church activities. I have a dim view of corporate worship with Jesus Loves Me songs, sermons without discussions of application, and a lack of intimate small groups.

My work is promoting Kingdom truths and activities, God Is Great and Worthy of Worship songs, and ecclesias of various sizes and scopes of influence. I want to see them gathering and living together in various sizes and fulfilling the Seven Mountain Mandate

Individual and Corporate Rulership

Humans were made to be the Creator’s viceroys on Earth. We were created to rule on Earth in co-rulership with the Creator. Since the Fall of Adam and Eve, the Creator has worked through people to bring Eden back to Earth, reproducing the convergence of Heaven and Earth, bringing Heaven’s benefits back to Earth.

This works through the various sizes of ecclesias:

Assembly of Greek citizens for political decisions
  • couples and prayer partners, “Where two or more are gathered in My name…” (Matthew 18:20)
  • families and households
  • small groups
  • communities in neighborhoods
  • local political jurisdictions
  • state, national, global.

This involves individual and corporate worship, seeking King’s will, proclaiming and working for it through the Seven Mountains Mandate.

Various Sizes of Gatherings and Life Together

These include couples, families, and households where members work on personal and interpersonal issues, family/ household culture, and their places in the Seven Mountains of Society.

Small groups meet in people’s homes or workplaces. They include varieties of ethnicities based on proximity, work, and play more than national or racial origin. Essential to these gatherings are sacrificial worship, intimate fellowship, and a common work for the Kingdom.

These small groups gather into communities in neighborhoods. They bring in Kingdom living, just as the Celtic monastic communities did in Ireland and Western Europe. The members include the neighbors in their life together and eventually draw them into the Kingdom.

Ecclesias in local jurisdictions watch over local politics and local projects, ruling over the local principalities and powers. Those in higher jurisdictions watch state, national, and global politics and organizations with their Higher principalities and powers.
